Can You Play?

Here are the directions:

1. As a comment on my blog, leave one memory that you and I had together. It doesn't matter if you knew me a little or a lot, anything you remember!

2. Next, re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you. It's actually pretty funny to see the responses. If you leave a memory about me, I'll assume you're playing the game and I'll come to your blog and leave one about you. If you don't want to play on your blog, or if you don't have a blog, I'll leave my memory of you in my comments.

I remember when we first got to the island we didn't know ANYTHING about living there and you invited us over for Sunday dinner so we wouldn't have to worry about cooking that night. It was the best thing because it was after that that we realized you could cook and eat normal food in Grenada. It also started us doing the same thing for other new families. Thanks for a wonderful meal!

Being Family Coordinator with you was such a blast!!! You have great ideas and such a good mom. I also remember how wonderful it was of you to answer all my emails before I came to Grenada then pick me up at the airport and show us how to get to church. We miss you!

1. Friday movie nights in Grenada.

2. Hanging out in Brooklyn! I was excited that you were so happy to see stuff (Empire State Building, etc.)

3. Cheese night!!!!

Sorry, I can never keep it to just one. ;0)

I still smile every time I think about your family pictures. Esther didn't just get wet, she rolled around in the sand as the waves crashed upon her! And that laugh! Well that's what makes me smile :)

Awesome family pics in Grenada by the way!!! I remember that I was always impressed with your skills in Grenada. It was like you weren't just surviving there...or camping as I like to call it...but you REALLY settled in and LIVED there. I think your cooking skills in particular...making a lot of homemade things...doughnuts, chicken broth. It made me realize I needed to stop complaining about how expensive everything was and just learn how to make the most of it and still make yummy things!

mommy nights=a half hour of exercise sandwiched between grocery shopping and laundry. woo.hoo.

those times we decided to forego the routine and get drinks instead--or with.

Drinks....hmmm...remember our aborted Bananas trip?
